Château & Capital

Leadership

Led with conviction. Built to outlast it.

Chateau & Capital is led by its founder and held to a standard designed to survive any individual — including him.

Founder & Chief Executive

Delani Adewuyi

We are not building for the next quarter. We are building an institution the next generation will recognise.

Delani Adewuyi founded Chateau & Capital on a conviction: that Africa's next great businesses will be built by permanent owners — operators who invest for decades, install systems that outlast them, and treat reputation as the asset that compounds fastest.

As Chief Executive, he leads the firm's principal investment activity, its development finance platform and the operating companies in its portfolio — spanning real estate advisory, property intelligence and the shared institutional capabilities every company draws on.

He holds the firm to the same standard it asks of the management teams it backs: candour about the numbers, discipline in what it declines, and a record that speaks for itself.

How We Lead

Four tenets of leadership

01

Stewardship over celebrity

The firm is designed so that no single person is the story. Decisions are made by process, recorded in writing and reviewed against the record.

02

Governance as practice

Boards that meet, minutes that bind, metrics that are owned. Governance here is not compliance theatre — it is how the firm actually runs.

03

Operators in the room

The people who allocate capital have run businesses. Investment judgment is grounded in operating scar tissue, not spreadsheets alone.

04

Succession by design

An institution built for generations plans its own succession from day one. Talent is developed deliberately, years before it is needed.

The Wider Team

Behind the firm stands a team of operators, underwriters and specialists across the platform and its portfolio companies.

Their detailed profiles are shared with counterparties in the course of an engagement. If you are considering working with us — as an investor, developer, founder or future colleague — we would welcome the introduction.

A Closing Thought

The institutions that shape tomorrow are built through disciplined thinking today.
